For those of you that don’t know, a level-based slot is a slot that plays like any other slot, the only difference is that the rewards you earn are linked to the level within the game you are playing. In Castle Builder, as the name suggests, your level is linked to the number of castles you successfully build.
You build castles by earning materials by spinning the reels and landing the building materials scatter symbol on 2 or more reels. Do this and over time your castle will be built up until it is finally complete.
Now you have to pick a husband for your daughter, pick carefully from the three suitors though as one is poor, one is rich and the other of middle income and the rewards you will receive from each will be commensurate with their randomly applied wealth.
Once you have completed one castle, there’s no time for the king to rest on his laurels, another has to be built for another daughter and so the process begins on a new level with increasingly grander and more complex castles.
The graphics in the game are bright and cartoon-style and all based on a medieval theme, which helps bring the game to life. There’s all the usual base game wins you can expect too, so you don’t only win coins by completing a castle, there’s lots of smaller wins to be had before that.
As first games from a new partner goes, Castle Builder is a fantastic offering and means that many Microgaming fans will be looking forward to further joint releases from the partners.
